Jailbreak Scene

For those of you who do not know what jailbreaking is, it's a way of opening up your device and being able to do more things to it than it originally can do from the factory.

I have not been on the jailbreak scene for a long time, but long enough to somewhat know what i am doing. I have had 3 ipod touches, my wife has had 2 ipod touches, my son has an ipod touch, and i have an ipad.

I have jailbroken all of my ipod touches and my ipad. My wifes older ipod touch was jailbroken and my sons ipod touch was jailbroken. I did all of this by way of people from twitter and so on. I found all of the information on my own and there are alot of people out there that take their own time to make sure that we get all of the information that we need. Thanks to all of you that take your time to make sure we get this information.

Of course all of this information is free and its doesn't cost anything to jailbreak your device. Some of the other things after you jailbreak your device do cost money, but mostly its free. None of the people that actually make the programs to jailbreak the device are making any money from anyone. they just do it.

So i found a blog this morning that actually kind of made me mad. i don't understand how you can talk bad about someone or what they do when you aren't actually paying for this service. yes its kinda frustrating sometimes waiting on some of the releases to get here but they are doing their best to get them here as soon as they can.

So what gives these people the right to HATE on these people? i would never talk bad about someone doing me a favor or helping me get the most out of my device. i don't know that i could have another device that is  jailbroken. So if these people go away because people are pissing them off because they aren't getting the programs out quick enough for them to do it, then what are you going to do? you will have nothing out there to do it with.

If i knew all of the names of the people out there i would give them the utmost props for what they are doing. i really do appreciate all the hard work that they put into what they do. i am by no means a man that can sit in front of a computer and write all these codes or whatever it is that they do. I am not however going to sit here and talk bad about them because they haven't came up with a way to jailbreak or unlock my current device because the firmware or software is brand new. i will just sit back and wait like i have in the past. When it does come out i will give thanks to the people that do it.
